Certificate Distribution Ceremony Of The Institute

A certificate distribution ceremony for award of certificates to 144 students of the first batch of competency based training and assessment and 40 students of city & guilds of london institute was held at the institute on november 2, 2019 at 11:00 hrs.dr masroor ahmed shaikh, chairman, sindh board of technical education was the chief guest. Admiral (retd) Muhammad Zaka Ullah ex chief of Naval Staff and rear admiral (retd) Syed A. Baqar, Chief Executive, Infaq Foundation visited SOSTTI on december 17, 2019

An MOU between Total Parco and SOSTTI for providing jobs / internship / on job training safety equipment and other workshop tools was signed on august 5, 2019 by chairman of SOSTTI Mr Sanaullah Qureshi and Cheif executive of Total Parco Mr Oliver Sabri.

Mr. Yacoobali zamindar, Co Chairman SOSTTI received the guests. The Principal Cdre (Rtd.) Khalid Wasim gave a video presentation on role and training activities of SOSTTI to the ceo total and other guests. He was then conducted on a walk round of the tti workshops. The ceo total appreciated the standard of training, equipment and infrastructure. He assured tti of continued training related support to tti.

Gm operations and head of hr from Meskay & Femtee Trading Company (private) limited visited SOSTTI on june 17, 2019. The Principal gave a presentation to the guest about training activities and courses at tti. The guests were taken around all workshops. They agreed to employe students from SOSTTI

International Women’s Day, Shell Tameer In Collaboration With SOSTTI

To mark this year’s (March 8, 2019) international women’s day, shell tameer in collaboration with SOSTTI hosted mentoring circles for 14 female led micro start-ups that graduated from SOS Technical Training Institute karachi last year. The mentors were the highly seasoned professionals; Rehana Alam, a renowned humanitarian associated with behbud association; humaira bachal, Shell Tameer Alumni and Ceo of Roshan Pakistan and founder of Dream Foundation an inspirational educationist breaking barriers; and Shahnila Adnan, who runs a successful home business, shared invaluable advice and counseling to the female entrepreneurs on their new business setups. Gm retail of shell Pakistan Ltd, Taha Magrabi, a patron of the tameer program opened the event, “my heartiest congratulations to the inspiring entrepreneurs. Tameer means to build, that is what the program sets out to do – build on ideas, transforming them into profitable business ventures which uplifts their surrounding communities. One of our focus areas is empowering women, and we have seen the exponential impact an individual entrepreneur can make on improving livelihood for not just their families but inspiring others to pursue their dreams. I look forward to further strengthen our collaboration with sos -tti to create a bigger impact on the socio-economic front.” as part of the enterprise development program, each student attends modules that enable the budding entrepreneurs to develop essential knowledge and skills required to start and run a successful, sustainable business. The series of “build the future workshops” cover key topics ranging from market research and business planning to financial and human resource management, culminating in the production of a viable business plan.

 

Blood Donation Camp At SOSTTI By Indus Hospital

A blood donation camp was set up at SOSTTI by Indus Hospital on 29th april 2019. 47 students of SOSTTI volunteered to donate blood. After testing finally 25 students were allowed to donate blood.

Provincial Skill Competition - 2018

Navttc provincial skill competition was held at aman tech on december 12, 2018. Governor Sindh Sr Imran Ismail was the chief guest.Technical institutes from all over Sindh participated. Mr.Tayyab of the industrial electrician course stood first in the competition. The student has received a cheque of rs.75, 000/- as prize and merit certificates from the Governor Sindh in a ceremony at aman tech.

Navttc provincial skill competition was held at aman tech and marriot hotel on april 30, 2018. Mr. Murad Ali Shah, chief minister of Sindh was the chief guest. Technical institutes from all over Sindh participated. Mr. Junaid of the industrial electrician course and Mr. Muhammad Ali of the automobile mechanic course both stood first in the competition. The students have received cheques of rs.75, 000/- as prize and merit certificates from the chief minister of sindh mr. Murad Ali Shah in a ceremony at marriot hotel.

 

National Skill Competition - 2016

Mr. Shah hussain student of SOSTTI, automobile course made sos proud by obtaining first position in National Vocational and Technical Training commission (NAVTTC) sponsored “national skill competition” held on october 23, 2017 at Islamabad. He received a cheque of rs.100,000/- from the President of Pakistan on October 30, 2017 in an impressive ceremony held at the presidency in Islamabad.
